Throughout my career, it became clear to me that many individuals and small businesses are looking for something more personal than a standard corporate firm. They want a "trusted advisor" who takes the time to listen, explain the 'why' behind the numbers, and provide genuine guidance.

An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally authorized tax practitioner who has demonstrated technical expertise in the field of taxation.
Here is a brief breakdown of what they are and what they do:
Federal Authority: EAs are empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels—such as examination, collection, and appeals—of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
The Highest Credential: It is the highest credential the IRS awards. Like attorneys and Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), EAs have unlimited representation rights, meaning they can represent any client, handle any tax matter, and work with any IRS office.
Specialization: Unlike CPAs or attorneys, who may specialize in general accounting or other areas of law, Enrolled Agents focus solely on taxes.
